Building Description

680 N Lake Shore is a classy vintage condo building in Streeterville. Built in 1926 as the American Furniture Mart, the massive building was among the largest single- use buildings in the world. Sixty years later, it was converted to a multi-use residential and commercial building.

It is now home to 415 condo units divided amongst the building's three separate condominium associations: the Tower, the Lake, and the South residences.

The building's original address was 666 N Lake Shore, but that was changed to its current address in 1988.
